(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – A new variety of Drupal offerings for developers recently became available through cloud solutions provider FiberCloud. Unveiling the platform in a press release on Wednesday, FiberCloud COO Susan DeFlorio referred to Drupal as a “quickly evolving community.”
The solutions include options providing for dedicated servers, colocation, web hosting and cloud servers. “We put our infrastructure to work for them with the sole purpose of making life easier. We want them to get what they need to get off the ground and do what they do best, without even thinking about the hardware,” commented DeFlorio.
The Drupal offerings will be hosted through FiberCloud’s data center facilities located in the U.S. state of Washington. Drupal has been around for a decade now and represents a highly popular PHP-based content management system commonly used for the operation of websites.
The solutions also provide developers with the advantages of revenue and custom deployment.
In addition to its new Drupal solutions, FiberCloud’s other offerings include server backup, SharePoint, internet bandwidth, managed colocation and more. Just last month, the company announced a major upgrade to its network for services including SharePoint 2010 and Microsoft Exchange.
