(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – October 22nd was a big day for Apple. During a product unveil in California, the Cupertino-based tech giant unveiled the all-new iPad Air.
Following the product unveil, iPad Air officially hit retail locations on October 1st.
Meanwhile, top mobile provider Verizon is pushing discounts on both the iPad Air and the new iPad mini with Retina display.
With a two year-contract agreement from Verizon, the iPad Air starts at $529.99 – something that includes a $100 discount. On the other hand, the iPad mini starts at $429.99 and also features the $100 discount with a two-year contract deal.
Month-to-month payment plans are also available but come without the discounts.

The iPad Air is 28% lighter than its predecessor and also features an all-new Apple A7 chip, a 9.7-inch Retina display, expanded LTE and faster Wi-Fi.
