(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Via a partnership with Gateway, computer manufacturer Acer is expected to release a 21-inch desktop computer running Google Android in either September or October.
The device, known as the Acer N3-220, was recently showcased at Computex IT expo in Taipei, according to a report from PCWorld.
While being a somewhat unusual fit, the platform gives the popular mobile OS a larger viewing area.
The computer is said to feature a 1.6GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and runs on Android 4.2.2. An HD display of 1,920×1,080 pixels is also provided.
