Expected for a release in June at a suggested retail price of $199.99, a 16GB version tablet will feature things like a quad-core processor, IPS technology, a 5MP camera, an LED-backlit display and 7 hours of battery life.
“Tablets are becoming cherished companions to many people as they stay connected and entertained throughout their day,” stated Acer America VP of product marketing Sumit Agnihotry via a press release.
Agnihotry continued, “We want everyone to experience that. Everything that makes tablets so enjoyable is even better on the perfectly-sized Acer Iconia A1. The design is comfortable to hold, while the sleek build makes it a natural extension for anyone who wants to keep their digital life right at their fingertips.”
Meanwhile, Acer is also expected to release an 8GB version of the device as well.
