(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – For $17.6 million, Minnesota-based data center optimization company Midwave is now a part of Datalink, a data center service provider. The news was revealed by Datalink today.
Commenting on the matter, Datalink CEO Paul Lidsky emphasized that the move “doubles” company revenues through its Cisco technology.
Lidsky also stated, “From our consultative approach and elite professional services teams to our robust portfolio and our customer-centric focus, we believe combining Datalink and Midwave is a tremendous opportunity for our customers, partners, employees, and stockholders.”
Datalink has been around since 1987 and today provides services such as virtualization and networking. Meanwhile, the company was expected to hold a conference call Monday morning further detailing the acquisition.
Midwave focuses on IT strategies, specifically things like virtualization, disaster recovery, and data center migration.
