(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – The online currency known as the “bitcoin” continues to grow. Just last week, Humbe Bundle, the provider of games using a pay-what-you-want model, announced it’d begin accepting bitcoins.
The move was made possible via a partnership by Humble Bundle with Coinbase.com.
“Buying a bundle with Bitcoin is easy: simply name your price for a bundle and select “Pay with Bitcoin” when checking out, and you’ll be well on your way to playing some truly double fine Double Fine fine games. Double,” stated the company via its blog.
Humble Bundle’s latest release, the Humble Double Fine Bundle includes games such as Psychonauts, Stacking, Costume Quest and more.
Purchasing packages from the company allows buyers to direct their money towards charities along with game developers.
More and more companies have begun to accept bitcoins. Just last month, Certified Hosting announced it’d begin using the currency.
