(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – AIS Network, a hosting provider of services including managed and cloud hosting, SharePoint, and disaster recovery announced on Tuesday that it had added SharePoint 2010 for Internet Sites to its hosting services.
Discussing the matter in a press release, AISN CEO Jay Atkinson stated, “For years, AISN has provided its Web development, marketing and creative media clients with fully managed, dedicated hosting for their Web sites, SharePoint Server and SharePoint FIS, and other business-critical applications.”
Atkinson went on to say, “Now, digital content creators’ interest in the cloud, and the mobile access it affords, is surging. Offering cloud-based SharePoint FIS represents the first of several steps that we will take to expand AISN’s cloud hosting services for professionals working in digital content creation fields such as Web development, design, publishing, film, architecture, advertising, marketing and public relations.”
The company says that it plans to provide the Sharepoint service to “digital content creators” during 2012 along with other products.
Sharepoint has proven to be a popular content management platform since it was initially introduced more than a decade ago.
Versions of Sharepoint that AIS Network provides include SharePoint Foundation 2010 and SharePoint Server 2010. The services come as part of the company’s shared server and dedicated server plans. For further information on the matter, view a press release by AIS Network here (aisn.net).
