Amazon Talks CloudFront Progress

(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – Amazon Web Services content delivery platform CloudFront is making significant progress, so much that the company recently discussed the service on their web blog.

In fact, Amazon says that the service has doubled in users within the past year, reaching more than twenty thousand people.

CloudFront gives developers and companies a platform to send out streaming digital content. Some of the service’s most high profile customers include Sega, PBS, and IMDB.

Aside from a higher customer base, AWS emphasized that it’s continuing to expand the service in areas including new features and locations.

Highlights of the service include low latency and ease of use. For more information on the service, visit here (aws.typepad.com).

Amazon launched their cloud services platform (Amazon Web Services ) in 2002, and since, the services have grown in popularity. Just earlier this month, the company announced a new cloud region in Oregon, USA.
