(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Apple has announced the dates of its annual WWDC conference, and event where developers gather to preview the company’s latest projects.
Around five thousand developers and one thousand Apple engineers will attend the event to take an in-depth look at the latest updates in OS X and iOS, states Apple’s website.
“We have the most amazing developer community in the world and have a great week planned for them,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “Every year the WWDC audience becomes more diverse, with developers from almost every discipline you can imagine and coming from every corner of the globe. We look forward to sharing with them our latest advances in iOS and OS X so they can create the next generation of great apps.”
Apple is expected to announce iOS 8 and its new rumored Healthbook app this year. Last year the tech giant announced the release of OS X Mavericks, iOS7, and an updated version of the MacBook Air and Mac Pro.
WWDC will be held from June 2-6 at Moscone West in San Francisco, CA.
