(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Last Thursday, Apple iOS 7 received an update in the form of iOS 7.0.3 – something that delivered a number of changes for Apple’s mobile OS, most notably the addition of the iCloud Keychain.
However, as always, many users wonder about how their iPhone’s battery life has been affected (if any) by the patches.
A recent online poll (non-scientific) from iMore.com sought to answer how battery life is for Apple devices after the iOS 7.0.3 update. Needless to say, the results were mixed.
The latest results show that 35.95% believes the update provided “no difference” (2,019 votes) while 21.72% said it was “Good. Slightly better” (1,220 votes).
Meanwhile, the most optimistic of those polled, 13.02%, said that battery life was “Great! Best ever!” with the update (731 votes).
In terms of those reporting a more negative impact, 18.25% (1,025 votes) reported that battery life had become “Bad. Slightly worse” while 11.06% (621) called it “Terrible! Worst ever!”
