(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Timestamps have been a great feature of Apple iOS for a while now. Via iMessage, they let users view the exact date and time a message was sent. Unfortunately, however, Apple didn’t previously let users view a timestamp for every individual message. Thankfully with iOS 7, Apple has changed course, now letting you easily view timestamps for each message sent and received.
And while individual timestamps don’t show up automatically, there is a super simple way to access them. According to Forbes report last month, all you have to do is follow the steps below:
1.) In iOS, access a text message conversation
2.) Simply swipe your finger on the screen from right to left
3.) Congratulations! Timestamps for individual messages should now appear.
