(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Apple has released the latest version of iOS 8, 8.1.2, fixing a number of bugs and issues with ringtone purchases.
“This release includes bug fixes and addresses a problem where ringtones purchases through the iTunes Store may have been removed from your device,” says the tech giant via software update note.
Additionally, Apple has also released a tool that restores purchased ringtones, though users must have the latest update in order to use the tool, AppleInsider reports.
Users running iOS 8 on iPhones, iPads, and iPods can now update the over the air update through the setting menu of their devices.
