Apple iOS 8.2 Jailbreak Already Available Ahead Of Launch (Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Apple has yet to release the newest iOS 8 upgrade but already it has been jailbroken by a group of Chinese jailbreakers that go by the name of TaiG.

ChristianToday reports that Twitter tipster MuscleNerd first reported about the jailbreak last week, writing the following:

“Looks like TaiG just released a jailbreak for 8.1.1 (and 8.0, 8.1, 8.2 beta). Best to wait a few days just in case taig.com.

In order to download the jailbreak users must first backup their device in order to insure their information is safe. Once completed enable Airplane Mode as well as temporarily disabling the Find My iPhone feature.

Next download the tool from TaiG’s website, followed by plugging in your device to your iTunes via computer. Right click on the .EXE file and run it as an Administrator. From there the jailbreak will begin to install. Once completed a smiley face will appear on your screen.

Devices compatible with the TaiG’s version of the jailbreak include all versions of the iPhone until the iPhone 4S, all iPad versions, and the iPod Touch 5G.

IBT notes that TaiG is in talks to potentially work with jailbreak team PanGu in hopes of creating a better service for customers.
