(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – With Apple’s WWDC conference quickly approaching, many are speculating and even reporting from leaks close to the company about what features we can expect to see from its upcoming operating system, iOS 8.
Many believe that iOS 8 will be unveiled at Apple’s conference next month in San Francisco, which is where the tech giant usually previews new version of its operating system.
According to a report from Macworld, the new OS will introduce a new health and fitness app, Healthbook, which will be able to monitor heart rate, blood pressure, nutrition, and more.
The app resembles Passbook and reportedly stores data from the rumored iWatch, which sources say is “well into development.”
Additionally, previous reports have stated that Apple will introduce Shazam, the song identification service, which will use the phones microphone to determine song names.
Other rumors include map improvements, differ user interface with notifications, CarPlay, and the addition of Preview, TextEdit, and Tips apps.
