(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Apple’s next flagship smartphone is the topic of much discussion, having many wondering what the company has in store for the rumored iPhone 6.
According to the Washington Post, the smartphone will not be called the iPhone 6 at all, but instead will go by the name of the iPhone Air, following in the footsteps of Apple’s tablets.
Other rumors suggest that Apple will release two versions of the device, a 4.7-inch version and a 5.5-inch version, as a way to compete in the phablet market.
Geeky-Gadgets reports that device will come equipped with Apple A8, a new 64-bit mobile processor with a “higher clock speed” of 2.6GHz.
Others speculate that the iPhone 6 will have s curved glass display, sapphire crystal screens to prevent scratching, 3D graphics, and a faster processor.
There has been much debate on when Apple will release the device, with many speculating a June release and others a September/October release.
