(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – Apple started off with AT&T, eventually extended its iPhone service to Verizon, and now it appears that Sprint may be in line to carry the company’s iPad 2 tablet computer. According to 9to5 Mac, the companies have readied the device. Now, all it takes is a release.
Previous reports have indicated that Apple is making its still unreleased iPhone 5 available for Sprint as well. So the move would make sense.
9to5Mac also notes that according to sources, the iPhone 5’s launch is set for early October. The iPad for Sprint could come out around the same time that Sprint gets the iPhone.
Meanwhile, Apple has been busy experiencing change as a company. Just last month, Steve Jobs announced his resignation as company CEO (although he remains as Apple Chairman of the Board).
