(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – A new iPhone is always around the corner.
According to a report from the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday, Cupertino tech provider Apple could begin making the new device this quarter. Such a move could provide a release this summer.
The Journal’s report cited “people familiar with the device’s production,” also noting it had a similar shape to the iPhone 5.
Earlier this week, a report from SFExaminer.com detailed a meeting between San Francisco DA George Gascón and Apple liaison Michael Foulkes during which Gascón expressed concern regarding mobile theft. He came away disappointed, talking about how Apple wasn’t inclined to feature kill switch technology in future iPhone releases. Why? Because the next two releases had already been made. “They preceded Tim Cook,” Gascón commented via the report.
