(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – The iPad Mini isn’t the only new product Apple has in the mix. According to a recent report appearing on 9to5Mac.com, the Cupertino company will release a 13-inch version of its Macbook Pro with Retina display alongside the new iPad.
An earlier report from Reuters cited a source indicating the iPhone maker would unveil its latest iPad October 23rd, next Tuesday.
Apple first launched the Macbook Pro with Retina display in June during the company’s annual WWDC conference. However, the initial version featured a 15-inch display. Another key spec included the laptop’s i7 2.0GHz dual core Ivy Bridge processor and a slimmed down design compared to other MacBook Pros.
It’s was widely rumored the company would eventually follow up the 15-inch Retina product with other sizes. However, the time frame for such a release had previously remained unknown.
