(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Tech giant Apple recently unveiled a new 16GB iPod Touch, a device which features stronger internals while cutting down on some other features.

Available for $229, the product makes iPod Touch more affordable than other versions including 32 and 64GB models.

Included is a 4-inch Retina display and Dual-core A5 chip.

While the tech specs impress, an article from ZDNet noted the product notably doesn’t feature the usual high-res rear iSight camera, a minus that’s significant.

Apple originally debuted its iPod Touch back in 2007. Since then, the company has sold at least 100 million units.
