Apple's iPhone 6 May Feature A 13-Megapixel Camera Sensor (Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Apple’s iPhone 6 may be getting a new camera senor if recent reports are true.

According to BGR, Chinese forum Digi-wo.com revealed that the device will have an Exmor IMX220 senor with 13-megapixel resolution and 1080p video recording support. In comparison, the iPhone 4S, 5C, and 5S only offers 8-megapixels.

This new rumor conflicts with previous reports from Chinese forum Weibo, who claimed Apple would not increase the megapixels on its new device.

Apple is expected to release is newest flagship smartphone this September. The iPhone 6 is expected to feature a number of improvements such as a bigger screen, a faster A8 processor, NFC, wireless charging, and come equipped with Apple’s new iOS 8 operating system.
