(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – A new iPad isn’t the only thing Apple has up its sleeve for an October 22nd invitation-only product event. According to a report from All Things D on Tuesday, the Cupertino-based tech giant is also expected to highlight the upcoming Mac Pro computer and OS X Mavericks.
All Things D cited “people familiar with Apple’s plans” when detailing the news.
The October 22nd unveil date was originally reported on by Current Editorials.
Apple previously previewed its Mac Pro computer at WWDC in June. However, that event simply provided an early look and no firm release date was listed. The Mac Pro features a radical circular redesign while OS X Mavericks is expected by some to arrive later this month, according to 9to5Mac.
Meanwhile, Apple’s new iPad will likely include a slimmer design with a 64-bit A7 chip.
