(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Is the latest Google Easter egg in the form of Atari Breakout so addictive that it’s becoming a work distraction? That appears to be the case, at least according to a report from phesreview.co.uk which noted the game wasn’t “boosting work hours.”
Google unveiled the easter egg last week to celebrate the 37th birthday of the classic Atari title. To access it, you simply type “Atari Breakout” into Google image search and whala, the image tiles are transformed into blocks from the game.
While the search giant has done some pretty entertaining easter eggs in the past, we admit, this has to be one of our favorites. If only you could turn every search into a playable title!
One of our other favorites is probably typing “Zergling Rush” into Google search; the letters turn to little zergs and chomp down on your search results.
