(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Samsung’s rumored Galaxy S5 Active has appeared in several recent leaked images revealing what we can expect to see from this highly anticipated device.
According to NDTV, the images, revealed through a Twitter post from Evleaks, show the Active to look similar to the S5 but with a more rugged design.
AT&T’s variant of this device features reinforced metal sides with a more durable plastic covering that allows the S5 Active to be dust and waterproof so that users can use the water-resistant earphone jack while in water and take underwater pictures.
Much like the Galaxy S5, this version will also come equipped with a built in heart monitor, but it will supposedly be an “improved version of the S Health app.”
Instead of the plastic fingerprint scanner, this rumored device adds three physical keys at the bottom of the phone for home screen, multi-window use, and backwards navigation.
Other rumored features on the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S5 Active include a Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and a 5.1-inch 1080 p full HD display screen.
