The new .London domain launched late last month and has already had interest from over 200,000 small to medium sized businesses within London.
The partnership represents the efforts made by BaseKit in partnering with respected companies in the telecoms, hosting and domain-name sectors, and arrives shortly after the arrival of hosting guru Thomas Vollrath to the BaseKit board of directors. BaseKit makes it possible for micro-businesses and SMEs to create a website quickly and efficiently without the need to write HTML/CSS. This partnership programme allows hosting providers to white-label and resell the BaseKit website editor to its customers.
BaseKit’s board director, Thomas Vollrath notes: “London’s booming economy has the most to benefit from the new .London TLD. Small-to-medium sized businesses especially now have the ability to boast about their central ties to one of the world’s largest economies, and BaseKit is helping to increase the reach of these businesses through our partnerships with hosting providers.”
Ben Crawford, CEO, CentralNic comments: “We are proud to be bringing Basekit on board as a partner – they offer a great British-made website builder that’s easy to use and creates world-class websites. Getting your business online has never been cheaper or easier than with the new .london domains.”
