(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – DICE has announced today that its third expansion for Battlefield 4, Naval Strike, is now available for Premium PC members, well ahead of its projected April release.
Naval Strike, a water based combat DLC, adds four new maps to the game, Lost Islands, Wave Breaker, Nansha Strike, and Operation Mortar, and a new game mode, Carrier Assault.
In addition, five new weapons, two gadgets, ten new assignments, and a new hovercraft vehicle has been added.
This DLC expansion was originally scheduled to launch on March 25th for PC Premium members but got delayed by the developers due to concern” that the combination of the pack and planned PC updates would increase performance issues on mid-range to high-end PCs.”
Naval Strike is the third expansion in a set of five that is due for release by the end of summer 2014.
