(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – If you thought the tablet market wasn’t crowded enough already, well, it just got a bit more competitive. According Reuters report from Tuesday, BestBuy will sell its own Android tablet called the “Insignia Flex” starting November 11th.
Insignia, the retail giant’s exclusive electronics maker, already has products in Best Buy stores including televisions, home audio and digital photo frames.
The company previously provided a peak at the upcoming device through its Facebook page. Tech specs include a 9.7 inch screen, a dual-core 1 GHz processor and what Insignia says is ten hours of battery life.
BestBuy’s entrance into an already crowded tablet industry could push Insignia’s upcoming device to compete against other tablets from Amazon, Apple and Google.
