Bethesda Ends Work on Skyrim DLCs; Moving on with Fallout 4?

(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Video game developer Bethesda recently confirmed its done with Skyrim DLCs – providing much disappointment to Elder Scrolls fans.

Bethesda announced the move on its blog, thanking fans for support and ending much speculation regarding the non-existent Redguard DLC.

However, what may mark the end of an era means something new and exciting is upcoming. “Parts of our team have also been in pre-production on our next major project, and that game is at the point where it requires the studio’s full attention to make it our biggest and best work yet,” noted the company in the post.

While it’s not confirmed, it’s presumed that Bethesda is focusing development on Fallout 4 – part of a series which last received a release with Fallout 3 back in 2008.

Meanwhile, Bethesda has remained tight lipped on the possibility – but did push new Fallout gear via its blog just last week (surely a hint, right?!).
