(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Borderlands 2 on Thursday received several minor tweaks in the form of updates from Gearbox.
One such thing corrected was a problem that caused the game to crash after the user had surpassed 240 missions via their log.
Meanwhile, two new features are now available. “Added the ability to preview and purchase add-on characters from the ‘New Game’ character selection screen and when joining another player’s game and choosing your character,” commented the game’s the developer.
As for the second? “Added un-purchased campaign add-ons to the Fast Travel station list to streamline the ability to purchase the new content. These locations appear with an asterisk next to their names,” the release notes stated.
Issues are said to affect the PC and PS3 versions.
Since being released last September, Borderlands 2 has been a top seller for platforms including the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows and OS X.
