Bridge of Steve Jobs’ Yacht Lined with iMacs

(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Perhaps the presumed name by many would have been “iYacht,” but for late Apple founder Steve Jobs, his vision for a sea vessel carried a different title. Over the weekend, the yacht known as ‘Venus’ was christened in the Netherlands, according to a report from OneMoreThing.

The vessel’s exterior strikingly bears the simplicity of Apple devices while the interior could be described as resembling that of an Apple store. Jobs had worked with designer Phillipe Starck to design the ship before his untimely passing last October.

The tech visionary’s family was reportedly in attendance at a ceremony, giving iPod Shuffles featuring the inscription “Venus” as thanks to the ship’s builders.

Measuring between 230 to 260 feet long, according to the report, the yacht is line with seven 27-inch iMacs with at least six visible in the bridge. Check out the pictures here (onemorething.nl).
