(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) –Call of Duty: Ghost may be headed for Sony’s handheld PlayStation Vita console. According to a report from TheSixthAxis on Sunday, the Vita version of the highly anticipated game was recently listed on GameStop Spain’s website.
And although it quickly disappeared after the revelation, we have to wonder: Is this a slip up or is a PS Vita version really in store? After all, an image of a PS Vita box for the game did appear alongside the price and title.
Meanwhile, a report from IGN pointed out that Activision’s Dan Amrich squashed the idea, tweeting, “over excited retailer. Sorry, no Vita Ghosts. Right now, only Angry Birds Star Wars is confirmed for Vita from Activision.”
Call of Duty: Ghost will likely be detailed further during tomorrow’s Gamescom convention in Germany where a multiplayer version is playable. There, console maker Sony is also expected the reveal the PS4 release date.
