(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Call of Duty: Ghosts, a confirmed title for Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox One console will feature voice commands via integration from Kinect.
Activision Publishing head Eric Hirschberg confirmed the move in a recent interview with Venture Beat.
“I made a passing comment that you’re going to see voice integration, voice commands via Kinect, which is something that we haven’t done in the past with Call of Duty. We think the improvements to Kinect really excite us because of the level of responsiveness and detail. I thought that the demo they did with the voice commands on television, the instant changing between games and music, was really compelling. You’ll see more of this coming from us as we get closer to the launch,” Hirschberg commented to the publication.
The Xbox One isn’t the only console the new game’s headed for. With a planned release in November, Call of Duty: Ghosts will also be available for the 360, PlayStation 4 and Wii U.
Microsoft unveiled its Xbox One early last week – a device that promises to feature more all-in-one capabilities with expanded features for the television.
