(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Camera maker Canon on Tuesday unveiled its latest device – the EOS 70D Digital SLR, a camera it says features “instant and accurate focusing of still images and video.”
The device features things such as phase-detection autofocus technology, a CMOS sensor along with a DIGIC 5+ Image Processor.
The camera is 20.2 megapixels. “The new EOS 70D Digital SLR camera is a game-changing DSLR model that incorporates advanced features for high-quality still and video capture and intuitive operation that allows photographers to evolve their creative vision from shooting still images to shooting moving images,” commented Canon’s Yuichi Inshizuka via a press release.
The EOS 70D is set to retail for $1199.00 and will become available in September.
