Carrier Neutral Cloud Launched by Webair

(Ping Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – Carrier choices are the centerpiece of a new cloud service launched by web hosting provider Webair on Tuesday.

Called the Webair Carrier Neutral Cloud, users of the platform have the luxury of selection, whether it involves the choice of which carrier they’d like to go with or how many carriers they’d like to use.

In addition to the above, Webair says users can make use of customized configurations. “Webair’s revolutionary Carrier Neutral Cloud removes barriers and provide clients with the unique ability to custom build a truly multi-homed cloud environment using any carriers they prefer,” stated Webair President Michael C. Orza when recently discussing the matter in a press release.

“Put simply, our clients can finally take full advantage of all of the benefits of dynamic cloud hosting infrastructure without giving up any of the freedom to control their own network configurations,” Orza continued.

Meanwhile, Webair said the platform is set to use via the company’s NY Cloud nodes. However, the service will be unveiled in additional areas within the near future.

As a provider, Webair offers a variety of cloud services along with hosting that includes dedicated, colocation and VPS. The company’s solutions are backed by data center facilities in locations including Los Angeles, New York, Montreal and Amsterdam.

The launch of Webair’s new cloud services take place just one week after the web host announced a partnership with application company Fusion-io. For more information regarding Webair’s new cloud service, view a press release by Webair here (
