(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – On Monday, web hosting provider Certified Hosting announced a move intended to help speed up page load times for their customers. The solution is known as the Varnish Cache system, an “HTTP caching technology.”
Specifically designed for installation on the web host’s servers, the solution works by making a cached version of a website operator’s page available to those visiting the site.
Discussing the matter in a press release, Certified Hosting CEO Kacy Carlsen said the technology “turbo-charges websites, giving visitors a better experience and making it far more likely that they will turn into paying customers.”
Carlsen continued, “ Varnish Cache’s ability to do this with no user-input is ideal.” In addition to simply providing faster loading, the solution can help with traffic even while web hosts operate “complex web applications,” according to Certified Hosting.
Last month, the company announced the addition of CloudFlare security technology to its hosting plans. As a company, Certified Hosting offers a range of hosting solutions including web hosting, dedicated servers and reseller hosting.
