Chief Justice Comments on Social Media Use

(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts recently made comments on social media, including Facebook and Twitter.

Roberts made the comments at the Fourth Circuit Appeals Court Annual Conference held in West Virginia.

During the remarks, the Chief Justice admitted that changing technology can present complexities when it comes to the law itself.

While admitting that social media use is generational, the highest ranking justice says he cautions clerks on the use of social media while in the workplace.

As for whether any of the members of the nation’s highest court use social media, slightly laughing, Roberts commented, “I don’t think any of us have a Facebook page or tweet, whatever that is.”
