(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Starting Thursday, China Mobile will begin taking orders for the iPhone 5S and other smart phone devices.
“Customers can begin to preorder for our new 4G services from Dec. 12 through the company’s website and some dedicated branches in Shanghai. But we will only start providing commercial 4G services after Dec. 18,” states a customer service operator for the company.
This sale of smartphone devices coincides with the permission of the Chinese government to finally let China Mobile start using their 4G LTE networks.
Following this decision, China Mobiles website posted “4G is here,” reports The Wall Street Journal.
China Mobile is the world’s largest carrier with around 755 million subscribers.
