Chromecast Receives Hulu Plus Integration

Chromecast Receives Hulu Plus Integration(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Remember that nifty but simple-looking streaming tool unveiled by Google in July? Called Chromecast, you simply plug it into your TV and it allows you to cross-stream content from your computer directly onto the big screen.

Starting out, Chromecast initially received integration with Netflix and Hulu. However, now you can add another name to that list.

Via its Chrome blog last Wednesday, Google announced that it had added Hulu Plus to the list of available streaming networks that work with Chromcast.

“Now you can easily enjoy your favorite shows, such as “Modern Family,” “New Girl” and “Parks and Recreation,” on your big-screen TV by casting from Hulu Plus on your mobile phone or tablet. It’s the same intuitive, remote-free experience you’ve come to enjoy with the other Chromecast-supported apps, and is as simple as pressing the Cast button which will now appear in the app,” stated Google via the post.

Chromecast comes with a $35 price tag through retail locations including BestBuy.
