(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – The new year has brought some major changes for cloud solutions company Flexiant, a provider of automation software. In addition to revealing new leadership at top company positions, Flexiant announced it had secured funding of 1 million British pounds
George Knox, formerly of web solutions company Gamut Technologies replaces Flexiant co-founder Alex Bligh as CEO. Bligh is taking on other company responsibilities, including the role of chief technology officer along with chief operating officer.
“The strategic focus of Flexiant is changing now from developing a product and bringing on early customers to taking that product to market. Flexiant has developed world class technology and my role is to ensure we become a recognised leader in the fast growing Cloud Automation software market,” stated Knox when discussing his new position in a press release.
He continued, “I am proud to be part of the team and look forward to the challenges ahead.”
Meanwhile, former Druid Group CEO (an IT provider) John Pocock takes the position of company chairman. Pocock is not new to the Chairman position. He currently serves in a similar capacity at other companies including Cognito and Maven Income.
