CloudOne Named Nominee In Two Categories For TechPoint Mira Awards

(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – CloudOne (, a leader in bringing enterprise Internet of Things applications to the cloud, is honored to be a nominee in the “Emerging Tech Company of the Year” and “Tech Services” categories for the 16th Annual TechPoint Mira Awards.

The TechPoint Mira Awards recognizes the most important players and developments in Indiana’s IT industry. TechPoint, the voice and catalyst of Indiana’s tech ecosystem, created Indiana’s technology excellence and innovation awards and named them after the first of the brilliant variable stars to be discovered – the Mira Star, which is Latin for miraculous. Winners will be revealed during a masquerade-themed, black-tie awards ceremony and gala on Saturday, May 2, at the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis.

“We are honored CloudOne has been acknowledged for our contributions to Indiana’s vibrant technology community. We couldn’t help the world’s best companies make their things for the Internet of Things without the support of the state’s thriving tech ecosystem which has helped us transition from a startup to a second-stage company in less than five years,” said John McDonald, chief executive officer of CloudOne.

In the past year, CloudOne has been recognized as a finalist for Red Herring’s Top 100 North America award; been named one of 27 Indiana “Companies to Watch”; and ranked No. 533 on the Inc. 500|5000.
