Combing Services, Cisco Launches CloudVerse

(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – Some of the top tech companies are already using a recently unveiled cloud service from Cisco.

Called CloudVerse, the offering combines Cisco cloud services with a couple new features including Cisco Network Services Manager and Cisco Intelligent Automation for the Cloud. Both fall under the company’s Unified Data Center service.

Also featured in the offering are the company’s Cloud Intelligent Network and Cloud Applications and Services.

Companies already on board with CloudVerse include LinkedIn, Fujitsu, and Terremark.

Commenting on the matter in a press release, Cisco CTO Padmasree Warrio stated, “Until now cloud technology resided in silos, making it harder to build and manage clouds, and to interconnect multiple clouds, posing critical challenges for many organizations.”

She continued, “Cisco uniquely enables the world of many clouds – connecting people, communities and organizations with a business-class cloud user experience for the next-generation Internet.” For more information on the matter, view a company press release from Cisco here (newsroom.cisco.com).
