(Ping! Zine) – Recent reports claim that Craigslist has confirmed that it has officially removed its controversial adult services section on its entire website gloablly.
According to reports from the Associated Press, Connecticut Atty. Gen. Richard Blumenthal announced, “Craigslist representatives confirmed to his office Tuesday that it had removed erotic services listings from hundreds of sites in dozens of other countries.”
The recent actions by Craigslist come just four months after removing the section from all its U.S. sites. Craigslist drew a lot of heat from government officials who deemed the section as promoting and advertising prostitution.
