(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – On Sunday many Samsung devices, including its smart TVs and smartphones, went offline for more than four hours due to a global outage.
According to CBSNews, the company experienced a fire at its data center in Gwacheon, South Korea.
The fire, which was extinguished after seven hours, started on the fourth floor of the data center, and then spread to the above floors.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but authorities are looking into the incident.
“We will fully cooperate with the authorities to figure out the exact cause of the fire and the level of damage,” said Samsung SDS.
