(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – Colocation provider Telx has news: The company is planning a “Flagship” data center facility in New Jersey. To make it happen, the provider has partnered with Mountain Development Corporation.
As a data center provider, Telx offers Ethernet exchange, dedicated internet access, HVAC protections for colocation, and more.
Specifically, the new facility will give the company 215 thousand square feet of more space.
Despite the move, it’s not the first time Telx has built in the area. The new facility will be located near an existing company presence in the area.
A key component of the data center includes its ability for customization for a tenant’s use.
Commenting on the matter in a company press release, Telx CEO Eric Shepcaro stated, “The construction of this flagship facility demonstrates Telx’s long-term strategy to expand data center and interconnection services and gives our customers more choice and flexibility in available power density.”
So when will the data center be open? Telx anticipates sometime late next year. The data center will also rely on energy efficient technology.
As a company, Telx has data centers located in various high-profile U.S. locations including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, and more. To find out more information on Telx’s data center plans, visit here (Telx.com).
