(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – A data center in Mahwah, New Jersey operated by the New York Stock Exchange recently experienced a fire, according to various reports.
The problem affected a section of the 400 thousand square feet facility. However, it was small and quickly put out.
While there was some damage, it wasn’t too significant.
Portion of a statement from the New York Stock Exchange provided by Data Center Knowledge said, “The incident, which resulted in no injuries, affected communications connectivity to 58 customers who have been notified that we are testing all systems and expect completely normal operations for Monday’s market open.”
