(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Game developer Bungie has had a hand in crafting some of the industry’s greatest titles (should we mention Halo?). Now gamers eagerly await the company’s next launch with Destiny, a sci-fi RPG/shooter.
But fans may have to wait just a bit longer to get their hands on what could be a Halo-like smash hit.
A fan with the username CreATOR recently posed a question to Bungie via the company’s “When You Wish Upon a Mail Sack” session, asking “Have you guys at Bungie finished all the graphics for the character models, and the world, etc?”
“No, no, and no. And, no. Everything you’ve seen so far is work in progress. There is still a lot of work to be done. This is why you are made to wait, friends. Not because we like to tease you. Not because we know that you can take it. It’s because we’re still working,” noted the company.
Meanwhile, we fully expect more information to roll out as time progresses. Bungie’s statement continued, “Fortunately, we’re not too busy to open a window and let you peer through our wall and look in our progress. We’ll do that again next week. We’ll open the Sack again, and make your wish our command.”
Destiny’s plot centers around a mysterious spacecraft called the Travel in which humanity has constructed a city under it. The surrounding world is dangerous following the end of a Golden Age. All we can say is – don’t expect this game to arrive in 2013.
