(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Bungie revealed during Sony’s press conference at Gamescom earlier this month that its new smash hit, Destiny, would be receiving its first expansion in December.
According to Polygon, not many details were given regarding the DLC, though the developer did reveal that PlayStation users will receive The Dark Below expansion first, along with access to the multiplayer map Exodus Blue, a Strike mission, and Dust Palace.
The Dark Below is set to be followed by a second expansion, House of Wolves, though no details have been released yet. Both expansion will be available through the $34.99 Destiny Expansion Pass, which can be pre-ordered now.
Bungie will hold a panel discussion on Sunday, August 31st, in Seattle to discuss the game and how the development team plans to keep the game “alive” and what fans can expect from the upcoming sci-fi game.
Destiny will hit shelves on September 9th for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, and PS3.
