(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – PlayStation 4 users can now pre-order Bungie’s upcoming sci-fi open world game, Destiny, from the PlayStation Store for $59.99, Polygon reports.
According to PlayStation Universe, Destiny will be the first PS4 title to support pre-loading, a feature first introduced in the 1.70 update in April.
“Beginning with Destiny, certain pre-ordered titles can be automatically be pre-loaded prior to their release. This lets you rest easy knowing that your game will be ready for play the second its release date hits,” said Sony.
Sony also notes that pre-loading does not grant users early access, only loads the game several days before the release to ensure that users can play it the second it releases.
Users who pre-order Destiny will have access to the beta, which launches in July on the PS4 and PS3.To be eligible for the beta, users must register on Bungie.net and link their PSN ID to receive notifications about the beta.
Destiny is set to be released on September 9th for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
