(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – Bungie has finally revealed the details of the Destiny exclusive content for the PS4 and PS3 that was hinted during Sony’s E3 press conference last week.
With Destiny’s launch, players will gain access to an array of content such as an exclusive competitive map, a unique Strike mission on mars, three ships, and a variety of weapons and gear, says the PlayStation blog.
The competitive multiplayer map, Exodus Blue, is a map for the Crucible arena that works with Control and Skirmish game modes. Bungie described the ship as a “long-dead vessel” that “once brought hope and humanity to worlds beyond Earth.”
Users will be able to go on a three-player co-op mission on Mars with the Dust Palace Strike. Here players will face a new enemy, the Psion Flayers, as they track a Cabal extraction team through the ancient Dust Palace.
Three ships will be accessible to PlayStation players, the Aurora Wake, a “hull lined with arcane instruments, crafted by a circle of Warlock”; the Outrageous Fortune that is a “rugged, versatile explore” for players who are “ready to game everything in search of ancient secrets and alien power”; and the Crypt Hammer, a “deep-strike insertion variant, built to carry Guardians safely through contested space.”
Lastly, two weapons, the Monte Carlo assault rifle and the Hawkmoon hand cannon, will be available, along with different gear assigned for each class.
Destiny is scheduled to be released on September 9th for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360, with a beta coming in July.
