(Ping! Zine Web Tech Magazine) – After many months of anxiously awaiting its release, Diablo 3‘s newest expansion, Reaper of Souls, is now available for Mac and PC users.
Blizzard has added a ton of new features to its newest expansion such the new Crusader hero class, Adventure Mode, Clans and Communities, a revamped loot system, bounties, and new regions such as the Blood Marsh.
At the launch event held in Los Angeles yesterday, game director Josh Mosqueira revealed that Blizzard would be bringing back its competitive ranking system.
Ladder systems are still being worked on and will be released within the next couple months as part of a major content update for Reaper of Souls, reports IncGamers.
Mosqueira also added that the update will be bringing in a new feature, Tiered Rifts, a feature that challenges players in Adventure Mode to see “who can get the farthest” by acquiring a Greater Rift Token from clearing a Rift. With each challenge, the tokens increase in ranks.
