(Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine) – In conjunction with their cloud services, Amazon Web Services has an easy way for its users to translate domain names into IP addresses.
Why? The goal is to provide for the connectivity of individual systems, all while coordinating them towards the company’s apps that work with the domains.
It falls under a platform called Amazon Route 53.
Recently the company made it easier for users to take advantage of the platform by adding it to the AWS Management Console, the company’s web interface for user management of apps.
Amazon Web Services recently discussed the process of using Route 53 via their official blog. Such steps include domain registration, hosted zone creation, and more. You can find the AWS post here (aws.typepad.com). Just earlier this month, Amazon Web Services launched a new cloud region in Oregon.
